The Facility
In 2012, SCPL transitioned to a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Budge Budge, on the outskirts of Kolkata. Spread over 10,000 sq. meters of land with a built-up area of 6,500 sq. meters, this facility was designed from the ground up to meet the demanding needs of traction motor manufacturing and refurbishment.
Over the years, we’ve continuously expanded and upgraded our infrastructure. In 2020, we made a significant leap forward with the addition of advanced equipment and a dedicated Test Bench for AC Traction Motors, enhancing our ability to deliver precision-engineered results.
